BSG Crossroad Pt 2

Oh my. That was the best episode of the entire season.

I’m putting up a link to Ron Moore’s interview on this episode. All you non-believers, read what he has to say.

Starbuck is alive. Yes, dammit. According to Ron Moore, she has signed on for season four.

Oh the irony. Tigh is a fracking toaster. What will Adama have to say about this news. His chief engineer, Roslin’s right hand woman, and Anders, they are toasters.

Damn what a way to end the season. Then to have Kara fly next to Lee and tell him she’s been to Earth and she’s there to lead them the way. OMG!

Lee was awesome. He let them have it especially daddy. Baltar was on trial for the wrong incident. Yes, he is traitor but not for the events that happened on New Caprica. Shame on Roslin for trying to get this man executed based on her dreams and putting the pieces together. All supposition and can’t be proven. Innocence people have died for people like Roslin. Not that I’m a great fan of Baltar.

In this one episode, Lee has exonerated himself as the whimpy, whiny man, a slave to Kara. He stood up for his beliefs. Adama has to respect Lee and he owes him an apology.

How much of the society on Caprica really are Cylons. Ron Moore said the four are fundamentally different cylons. What the heck does this mean? Already we have two babies that are mixed with cylon technology. Could it be something got warped as Caprica evolved and the Cylons are the true natives, and the humans are just sub-species that gained control. Or perhaps, the Cylons were in fact the controller that allowed humans and their mixed or pure offsprings live out their lives on Caprica until something pushed their buttons.

Are we really going to find earth dated back to 1960′s if we go by the song played throughout the episode. It’s a cover song for Bob Dylan’s All Along The Watchtower. Symbolically, the use of the song could mean many things: a beacon of sort to earth, an indication of life on earth, a tribute to the old ways on earth…

I’m having fun speculating since I don’t remember the old BSG. The writers, however, do not have to follow the old storylines to BSG series conclusion.

All I know, it’s going to be a long ten months for the next episode.

I really liked that RM interview — thanks for posting it. I’m so *relieved* to see that Katee is signed for season 4. I had just noticed that she has a part in the Bionic Woman remake and at first thought she was going to play Jamie Summers. That would have been a disaster. Kara really is essential to BSG. It would be hard to not have her aorund for a whole season.

I can’t even speculate on the whole Cylon thing. It’ll be so long before we know anything. I have to just put it out of my mind… LOL

LOL. Ten months is a long time for speculating, that’s for sure. So Katee is part of the new Bionic Woman movie. Interesting!
