Peter and Nathan

This is one gorgeous vid.  A must see of Peter and Nathan from the Season One.

Peter/Nathan

Honestly, I tried to resist this type of pairing.  Then I read ‘s Lethe’s Shore and I was doomed to the darkside with no help from Peter and Nathan.  They are gorgeous together.  You just have to watch the first season to see the love between them, the way they stare at each other, the touching, the stepping into the other’s space with no concerns.  Their interactions just pull you in.  The vid captures these nuances so well of Peter and Nathan.

How I deal with the subject matter.  I tell myself it isn’t real.  This is fantasy and Heroes is one big heap of fantasy world where anything goes.   Real worldview values need not come knocking on my door.

Heroes: Truth and Consequences

Btw, Battlestar Galactica’s Razor rocked!

Sorry.  This Heroes: Truth and Consequences sucked big time.  Too many story arcs and so little time.  This ep should’ve been rocking, having us holding our breath, waiting anxiously for next week to be here already.  Bah.  Big suckitude.

The truth is, I don’t like Maya and Sylar’s storyline.  Not in scheme of the current situation.

The truth is, hello Victoria.  Goodbye, Victoria.  Wonder how much they paid Joanna Cassidy for her five minute scene?

The truth is, Peter completely missed Victoria’s statement that his parents were killers.

The truth is, for this ep Peter shared some of the same brain cells as Mohinder.  Dimmed wit and narrow focus.  Peter concerns for Caitlin is like do we really care.  Mohinder’s determination is to save Nikki and to be all self-righteous.  Annoyingly so.

The truth is, both Bob and Adam showed their true colors and should anyone be surprised.

The truth is, I missed Nathan, terribly.  Yo Nathan.  Peter needs you, man.  Needs your sarcastic, sharp shooting wit so he can get back on the clue bus.

Argh, Claire.  Can anyone ever forget you are only seventeen years old.

I do like Micah and Monica but for sake of brevity could they not conclude their storyline sometime in the future.

Next week’s ep – I hope the powers put in a lot more energy in the final than they did with Truth and Consequences.

Sexiest Man Alive, Final

The subject of my last sexiest man alive post will probably garner some undeserving controversy. I found people either love him or hate him. While Milo is the hawt and upcoming actor, Denzel is fine with age and grace, Jake Gyllenhaal falls somewhere in the middle of these two. Or perhaps he is in a realm of his own. In the order of, he is hawt AND he is sexy intelligent.

Jake caught my attention in the movie Day After Tomorrow. The movie wasn’t extraordinary or even that Jake’s acting was mind blowing. It was his presence on screen that made me sit up straight and say, “who is that guy.” Then he played Jack Twist in Brokeback Mountain. I’ve been a fan ever since.

Jake G is tops on my list.

Sexiest Man Alive, Part 2

Aging gracefully, that is the actor Denzel Washington. He is one of the most sophisticated and talented men in Hollywood. He deserves a spot in People Magazine for the 2007 Sexiest Man Alive grouping. He takes on a horrifying part as Frank Lucas (American Gangster) and conveys a heady combination of charisma, depth, and substance. Sure, you don’t want to like this character. However, Denzel’s acting helps make one realize there are deeper issues with a person like Frank Lucas.

Sexiest Man Alive Post 1

Who is the sexiest man alive? According to People Magazine, it’s Matt Damon. Okay, Matt is kinda of sexy. I love his Bourne movie series. But check out the pic below to see who I think is the one of the sexiest men. Note I said “men.” Because you know, it’s better to have more than one, like munching on different flavors of chocolate candy. Taste worthy and so, so irresistible.

Milo Ventimiglia is HAWT! The show, Heroes, has its share of fine looking men, but Milo is tops.

Heroes: Four Months Ago

Three episodes left. If the strike is resolved like tomorrow, how will it affect future production of the shows?

Man, I got jossed even before I could post the story. A Gen story at that. A coda to last season’s How to Stop An Exploding Man. Now I’m wondering if it is worth posting.

Anyway I like this episode and the pacing.

Peter saved Nathan, exploded, regenerated in a second and saved Nathan. Wow. Who can resist a bare-chested Peter.

I don’t believe Adam, totally. He was held captive for thirty years. Really. I thought Bob had said, Adam was essentially the leader of the Company and that Linderman was his minion. And that he’d escaped like two weeks ago. I’m going by memory so I’m probably wrong. I still don’t believe Adam existed in the facility that long.

Heidi was kind of in a dream state after her conversation with Heidi. I suspect Angela has the power of persuasion through touch and speech.

So, DL didn’t die from his initial wound in last season. Man, that isn’t fair to have him die twice so to speak. I did enjoy seeing a conclusion to Nikki and DL’s storyline.

The Haitian does get around. He’s this all around go-to-man for all concerns. Then he does something endearing like saving Peter.

Elle, woah, has major problems. That girl is a sociopath and is also sadistic. Warning to men: She will bait you, then fry you. A real sizzling hot tamale. I like the actress playing Elle. She is a nice addition to the show, but the brother and sister, I’m not interested in their storyline.

Exactly who are the bad guys and good guys of the Company. Bob wants to eradicate the Heroes’ power to allow them a normal life. Sure buddy. Me thinks it’s not for the common good.
