Heroes: Four Months Ago

Three episodes left. If the strike is resolved like tomorrow, how will it affect future production of the shows?

Man, I got jossed even before I could post the story. A Gen story at that. A coda to last season’s How to Stop An Exploding Man. Now I’m wondering if it is worth posting.

Anyway I like this episode and the pacing.

Peter saved Nathan, exploded, regenerated in a second and saved Nathan. Wow. Who can resist a bare-chested Peter.

I don’t believe Adam, totally. He was held captive for thirty years. Really. I thought Bob had said, Adam was essentially the leader of the Company and that Linderman was his minion. And that he’d escaped like two weeks ago. I’m going by memory so I’m probably wrong. I still don’t believe Adam existed in the facility that long.

Heidi was kind of in a dream state after her conversation with Heidi. I suspect Angela has the power of persuasion through touch and speech.

So, DL didn’t die from his initial wound in last season. Man, that isn’t fair to have him die twice so to speak. I did enjoy seeing a conclusion to Nikki and DL’s storyline.

The Haitian does get around. He’s this all around go-to-man for all concerns. Then he does something endearing like saving Peter.

Elle, woah, has major problems. That girl is a sociopath and is also sadistic. Warning to men: She will bait you, then fry you. A real sizzling hot tamale. I like the actress playing Elle. She is a nice addition to the show, but the brother and sister, I’m not interested in their storyline.

Exactly who are the bad guys and good guys of the Company. Bob wants to eradicate the Heroes’ power to allow them a normal life. Sure buddy. Me thinks it’s not for the common good.

    >>Who can resist a bare-chested Peter.

Not me, that’s for sure. :) ) I think Heroes should be all Peter, all the time. *g*

    >>I don’t believe Adam, totally.

I don’t think we’re supposed to believe him. Otherwise, why show us his great change from drunk, to hero to villain? I think we’re supposed to doubt him, and the actor himself is an import from Alias where he was a bad guy with easily shifting loyalties. So I can see why they cast him here if there’s more to it than just him being immortal. Plus, the company only seems to try to detain those heroes who are dangerous. There’s nothing really dangerous about regeneration. There must be more to his story.

    >>Elle, woah, has major problems.

I found this to be a little off-putting. We already have a crazy blonde on the show named Nikki…

    >>but the brother and sister, I’m not interested in their storyline.

I’m not either, but it’s mostly because they are taking so long to get them tied into the main storyline, AND they are so hyper melodramatic…

Plus, I don’t understand what her power is…

I think Maya’s power is the plague.

Adam is a trickster. I can’t even begin to unweave the convoluted tales surrounding Adam, Bob, Linderman, the Company, and I truly suspect Father Petrelli. I find the lack of information about Father Petrelli has really peaked my interest.

Anyway the known info is that Adam started the Company 30 years ago. Linderman was his disciple. Linderman also admired Father Petrelli, said he had great powers. Angela Petrelli says Father Petrelli had delusions of grandeur. Bob claimed Adam became dangerous (delusions of grandeur, perhaps) and had to be imprisoned. Bob is trying to suppress the powers of the heroes supposedly for their own good except Elle’s. But he does appear to have reasonable control over Elle. His first victim/guinea pig was Adam.

Someone is killing off the Company. I don’t think it’s Nathan. Whoever it is can fly and turn invisible.

I think it’s convenient Peter was placed in the cell next to Adam.

Now all of these people aren’t exactly as they appear. Who the heck knows what Adam really is. He’s 400 years old. His power could have manifested into something more.

Can you tell I’m thoroughly hooked. LOL
