As a temporary solution, anyone who is experiencing this problem can contact coppa@livejournal.com with their username and a copy of any government issued identification which includes a date of birth.
I can’t even begin to explain how freaked I am about this.  Seriously, do they expect ppl to upload or email an official document to prove their age.
