Gacking from LJ Community

1. Go to your desktop and press the Print Scrn key (located on the right side of the F12 key).

3. Post the picture on your blog. You can also give a short explanation on the look of your desktop if you want. You can explain why you prefer such a look or why it is full of icons. Things like that.

Awesome Tony Stark in his all powerful god-like stance. Surrounded by so many icons, he’s almost lost in the maze. I have to have quick accessibility to my programs. One day, I’ll clean up the junkyard.

Movies and Fifth Cylon

There are two must see movies coming up soon — Hancock and The Dark Knight. I’m prepared to LMAO at Hancock. Cry my eyes off at The Dark Knight. Letterman said Heath Ledger owned the Joker.

I’ll try not to bore you with my speculations. I must throw this one out as a possibility. According to this blog, Ron D. Moore may have regretted spilling the beans about BSG Last Supper pic. You can read the article here.

A confirmation of sort

If this is no joke, the list of candidates has truly shortened enormously. D’Anna’s comment about the fifth not in fleet really eliminated some fav choices and Ron killed my choice for Helo.

But…

What if the Fifth Cylon IS a cylon. That would be some frakked up shit. Have us banging our heads against the wall as if we aren’t already doing that now. :-) For certain, Tigh would go on a drinking binge for the next eon.

Kara and Leboen

That’s right, folks. It’s Leboen.

Battlestar Galactica

Waiting for BSG season’s finale. I expect this episode to be fantastic. Already, there are spoilers spreading around in the fandom. I read the first sentence and very nicely backed out. I want to come to my own conclusion before discussing the show with like-minded fans.

What I know won’t happened — the revealing of the final cylon. Not when there will be about 10 more episodes before the series end. Speculations abound, though, and it’s like shooting a crapshoot. Any person on that show could be the final cylon. The prominent characters such as William Adama, Lee Adama, Roslin, Baltar, and Starbuck to the less likely such as Duaella, Helo, Gaeta, Dr. Coddle, anyone.

So I am hoping this episode will give us more insight into who is the fifth, narrow down the possibility, something we can chew on at leisure while we suffer the wait until 2009.

Searching for the Final Fifth

[SinglePic not found]

I had an epiphany last night that crashed and burn today. Wants have no place with logic, and I wanted Helo to be the final fifth cylon. It would have been wonderful, to have this solid, compassionate man with strong morals of right and wrong, who loves unconditionally with no regards to racial entitlement. Helo risked his standing in the BSG community and with Adama, his friendship with Starbuck because he loves a cylon. He has suffered knowing the mother of his child was incarcerated, almost abused, and continued to be the rock among chaos. Alas, he is not a cylon.

Who is that darn fifth cylon?

Look at that smile

There is the fist bump flying around the net. It’s a great picture. However, I love this one as well. A husband, adoring his wife.

I betcha, in that special place among the stars, Martin Luther King, Jr. is smiling down on all of us. A job well done.

What’s Next

There was a time I adored Hillary R. Clinton.

I used to adore Bill Clinton. I defended his character during the Monica Lewinsky debacle to friends and especially to family. We had one hell of a verbal debate about integrity and character. My last word in the debate, Bill was a good president and what he did behind close door as compared to what he was doing for country was a no contest.

If I had a crystal ball and could foresee the future, I would’ve kept my mouth closed tight. Hillary’s campaign disappointed me terribly and her husband was a big part of that disappointment.

If she wants to become vice president, her first order of the day is to learn respect. Respect calls for concession and having the balls to admit, not that she lost, but that she supports the winner and that she should, could take the initiative to start healing the party. Each minute she remains silent, indicates inflexibility, narcissism, caring for only one’s desires and not the needs of a country.

It’s time to move on Hillary. Get your house in order and gather up your supporters. From now until November, we have one hell of a fight.
