There are two must see movies coming up soon — Hancock and The Dark Knight. I’m prepared to LMAO at Hancock. Cry my eyes off at The Dark Knight. Letterman said Heath Ledger owned the Joker.
I’ll try not to bore you with my speculations. I must throw this one out as a possibility. According to this blog, Ron D. Moore may have regretted spilling the beans about BSG Last Supper pic. You can read the article here.
If this is no joke, the list of candidates has truly shortened enormously. D’Anna’s comment about the fifth not in fleet really eliminated some fav choices and Ron killed my choice for Helo.
But…
What if the Fifth Cylon IS a cylon. That would be some frakked up shit. Have us banging our heads against the wall as if we aren’t already doing that now. 
For certain, Tigh would go on a drinking binge for the next eon.

To be truthful, Em. I’m at the stage where LJ doesn’t interest me as before. Hubby’s sickness, the new addition to the family, more involved work routine, I don’t have much to say.

Um, for obvious reasons I would love it if it were Leoben… but I read a great analysis in which it was suggested it could be one of the Eights … the original Sharon Valerii.
Part of the argument was because there was no 7. What if the 7th model was simply an earlier version of the 8? Also, she’s still the first to go against the rest of her model in terms of deciding to war with the other cylons…
Also, this would provide some very interesting closure for Boomer Sharon, “hungering for redemption,” I’d bet.
There is so much detail about BSG, it’s almost impossible to wrap one’s mind around it.
I finished re-watching S1 looking for clues. The missing number seven is intriguing and it has to be another clue that skip from six to eight. I don’t know about Boomer, but Athena does carry the memory imprint of Boomer’s experience. She is also the mother of Hera and has suffered greatly at the hands of the humanity. The resurrected Boomer seems far too angry and there is a reason why she sided with Cavil.
But Athena, her connection to Helo and Hera, her strong religious beliefs, her commitment to humanity, her callsign name Athena, Athena was the goddess who died when the thirteenth tribe left for Earth. This detail is something to think about.
I still think one of the cylon is serving dual purpose and Leoben is still on the list.
Could you point me to the analysis of Number Eight? I would love to read it.
