BSG Last Supper Pic – The Final Cylon

BSG fans, who do you think is missing from this picture. You do know that person is the Final Cylon. I’m giving this one more shot into speculation and then I’m going to wait for next year. :-)

If I am correct, then Ron Moore is one frakking genius.

It’s D’Anna. She is the last Cylon.

Every discussion of late, someone would say: D’Anna said the fifth is not in the fleet. I saw the Last Supper pic again and it hit me, right there in the ah ha moment. Of course, it’s D’Anna. She wouldn’t ask for herself would she. Some think she’s lying about the fifth in the fleet, and I say to what purpose. No one in the fleet or on the basestar (excluding D’Anna) knew the names of the Final Five. The Final Four at this point haven’t revealed themselves. D’Anna lying made no sense to me.

But, she’s already a Cylon. Yes, that’s true but in a different way. I’ve felt for a while, there are three species in this universe, the humans, the seven model Cylons, and the final five. Ron Moore had said the Final Five are 100% Cylons and I believe him. From his comment, we can analyze to say the humans and the seven-modeled Cylons are derivatives of the Final Five. The humans and the seven Cylons have evolved from the basic species.

If the humans Tigh, Anders, Tory, and Tyrol are Cylons, why not have a Cylon be the fifth Cylon.

It’s perfect. It’s wild. It’s damn shocking. Just look at the picture. Tigh is uncomfortable sitting next to the empty space. But Lee, he’s thinking. He is unconcern with the seating arrangement. He offered D’Anna a truce and they formed an alliance to go to Earth together. Sitting next to D’Anna would be of no consequence to Lee. But Tigh has issues as depicted in the picture and I feel the reasons hark back to 2,000 years ago when the 13th tribe left for Earth and Athena sacrificed herself over a cliff. There is a splinter among the Final Five.

Back to D’Anna, her goals changed while on New Caprica. She started having dreams about Hera, which leads her to the Oracle. The Oracle tells her that Zeus sees all, her destiny, her pain, and that the gods weep for her. Why would the gods feel sorrow for D’Anna unless she’s acting out of form, not being true to her nature, and she’s causing harm. Why would the gods be concern for D’Anna? Perhaps it’s because D’Anna is one of the Lords of Kobol, the Final Five, a member of the family of gods.

D’Anna is instrumental in bringing out the final four and her accepting Lee’s offer allows humans and cylons a rare alliance. She should sit at the table with the others.

Heath Ledger and TDK

Get Well, soon, Morgan Freeman.

Slash could not ever be part of the conversation, my colleagues at work, however, are definitely movie goers.

So we were talking about The Dark Knight at work and one of my colleagues hated it, hated it, hated it. Um, yeah. I got the point so I asked her why.

It was Heath Ledger’s interpretation of the Joker. She loves serial killer type movies and the fact that HL made the Joker more a serial killer made her upset. That was not how she saw the Joker. She prefers Jack Nicholson’s version.

I was cool with her assessment because you know, not everyone will enjoy HL version. But she went on to say that HL became too engrossed in creating the Joker and for that reason he committed suicide.

Woah, kill me already. I had to stay calm and said the man accidentally overdosed on prescription drugs. And can we please not talk about how he died. From what I read HL had the tendency to become very involved in his creations and isn’t that what good actors do.

We moved the conversation away from death to talk more about the movie. But this got me to wondering how many others out there may feel the same as she does about HL death, that he committed suicide.

Note: We did agree, when the Joker, dressed in a dress came out of the hospital. It was hilarious and more like the comical Joker we’re used to seeing.

The Dark Knight – No Spoilery

Personally, I take Maggie Gyllenhaal over Katie Holmes as Rachel Dawes. I thought she did a good job with the part. Remember the rumor about Jake going for the Harvey Two Face Dent. Can you imagine the difficulties? *g*

There is a reason why I don’t do IMAX. It’s been quite awhile and I’d totally forgotten that I really, really, don’t like the experience. Felt claustrophobia for about 20 minutes as though the screen was pressing down on me.

Heath, wow, he did it again. Immersed himself in character and brought new meaning to the Joker.

I like Christian Bale as Batman, but I must admit Michael Keaton is still my top fav as Batman.

Now, I want to see the movie on a regular screen where I don’t have to do a half circle to the right or to the left in order to see the actions.
