I have accomplished in a few hours, setting up and moving files to this site, what I couldn’t do with EE and Textpattern. It took three tries of importing my files from my other WP site. WordPress, however, certainly spoils a person. If I was a web designer involved in developing client CMS websites, I would give Textpattern a whirl.  I like the interface, setup, the easily understandable code they use to execute the application.
Next up:
- Transferring the image files over this gallery. Groan. What a job. Not even sure if it’s worth the effort. There are other sites out there with great media screencaps for tv shows and films.
- Setting up navigational link structure, and then transfer my stories from the other site.
Hopefully, once I have settled here at my new domain, I will not be moving anytime soon. Of course, changing the skin to this site is like having a dose of chocolate candy. Sweet and nice.
