The mystery is intensifying.
One of the eights dies trying to fix the raptor. Electrocuted to be exact. We now know Gaeta does know this mysterious eight, who asked him, “Don’t you recognize me, Felix.” Both indeed were on New Caprica at the same time.
Flashback: She gives him a piece a paper. Gaeta studies it and hands it back to the eight. She hides it under her jacket and leaves their secret meetup place. Felix ponders the information he read on the paper.
Boomer did not want to see Cally executed. She still cared for Tyrol and Boomer apparently had no hard feelings toward Cally. Wow, it stokes me Boomer was the one that saved Cally from death by passing info to Gaeta who in turn passed it on to Tyrol. It’s the same piece of paper causing Tigh to poison his wife for her betrayal.
If my speculation ends up true, how ironic, considering how much Cally hated Boomer. I never much liked Cally. Her hatred for Boomer went beyond the pale when Cally murdered Boomer. After all, Boomer was one of them before the truth came out. I couldn’t feel comfortable her sense of justice was all that pure.
Meantime, someone purposely stripped the rubber protector off the wrench. Right now, the plot device is a little too contrived and I expect more from the writers of BSG. So I’ll have to wait for more webisodes for a sense of what’s really taking place on the raptor.
