Flashforward – Revelation Zero

I think I was a bit tired trying to grasp the actions on Flashforward. Between snippets of sleep, I wake up seeing Simon, who appeared in this episode to move front and center of everything that is going on. I’m curious, though.

Flasso tells Simon he’s been involved since he was thirteen years old. Huh!

Simon was awake during GBO. He was forced to this stadium and given a ring to put on his finger. Then Simon watched the people around him faint away.

Somehow, Simon’s family doesn’t seem real. They sickeningly caters to Simon because he’s the brilliant, wonder kid. Flasso pays the family a visit as the uncle. Flasso then has been involved with the family for a while, but for not much longer. Outside the home after suffering a stressful family dinner, Simon kills Flasso. See below for the reason.

Flasso had Simon’s father murdered, kidnapped his sister, and when he was a captive along with Simco, Flasso had one of Simon’s pinky fingers cutoff at the nub. All to keep Simon in the game and controlled. Simon and Simco, interesting naming of the characters.

I do have this sense; did Simon fall out of the sky or something?

Meantime, Mark saved Lloyd Simco based on information he remembered from his flashforward. He drills Simco unsuccessfully, attempting to force Simco to reveal information about another possible blackout.

So what we have is a restart to the series generating more questions and answering a few from last season such as who in the hell is Simon. Now, I’m curious about the offerings of a 13 years old, brilliant, arrogant snit.

Wow. It's Quiet Here...
