Nikita is coming back to television on Thursday, September 9. She is dark haired and sexy instead of blonde-haired, feral, and sexy. Previews are awfully slick. Maggie Q is so darn beautiful, I don’t quite see her as Nikita, which is something good. How will Maggie Q measure up to her predecessors, Peta Wilson and Anne Parillaud? Hopefully, she will own Nikita just as Edward James Olmos owned Adama in the reimagined BSG series.

Somewhere among my very old, old VHS tapes, I have a couple of R. D. films. It's going to be interesting not having him or Peta Wilson in the new Nikita show, especially RD.

I like that the old Michael (RD) restrained himself from displaying his emotions. He seems to reflect vulnerability in his eyes as if he didn’t want to kill. But he didn’t hesitate to do his job, otherwise he would die.
In last night episode, I noticed the new show is carrying forth this concept of “do or die.”
