I’m All Shook Up

I’m all caught up through “The Recruit” with Nikita’s episodes. After lamenting the lost of the original cast members (LFN,) I am enjoying the new show. It gives hope while LFN was created as moody, somber, and absolutely no hope of ever leaving the yoke that was Section One.

Percy is no Operations. He’s a sleaze ball (sorry,) who’s taken Division (I still want to say Section One) rogue. I like the concept. There the potential adversaries from the Government. It won’t just be Nikita after Division.

Melinda Clarke is doing a marvelous job as Amanda. She has the sexy going on, the charm of a viper, the fake innocence of high maintenance. Under the superficial is a woman quite capable of issuing pain without the blink of eye. It’s scary how she discusses methods of pain and has no feelings for the sufferer.

I love that Nikita can kick ass. Yay for the feminine superman. Until she came up against Owen, her kryptonite. Nikita cannot hold up against a cleaner and reaper as well as it should be. But she can be smarter. That what I am watching for, a tough, kickass, Nikita who is also intelligent. And note this, the chemistry between Owen and Nikita is strong.

Blurb

Division sends Thom (Ashton Holmes) to eliminate Anna (guest star Rayisa Kondracki, “The Bridge”), a woman who was having a secret affair with a U.S. Senator (guest star Spencer Garrett, “Leverage”). Division agrees to cover up any trace of the affair as long as the Senator agrees to help pass a bill that will continue to fund the agency. Nikita (Maggie Q), with Alex’s (Lyndsy Fonseca) help, attempts to reach out to Anna’s parents, but the conversation doesn’t go as she expected. Shane West, Xander Berkeley, Melinda Clarke, Aaron Stanford and Tiffany Hines also star. David Barrett directed the episode written by James Barnes. -Taken directly from CW website
