Sell your soul to the devil.
Some clichés are apropos. This one is fitting. Rag newspapers, and scumbags paparazzi making a video off a manipulated situation.
I don’t like preaching to the choir. This stuff rubs me raw, though.
During the video shoot, Heath didn’t know at the time he was being filmed. Two paparazzi setup Heath by putting a bag of cocaine on the table. They do the snorting. Heath had no clue these men were paparazzi. Heath’s fans know how much he despised them. When he did find out, he asked for the tape and never got it.
But it isn’t just Heath. It’s people, man. Being setup or having what should be private publicized in full display on the net. Like Google mapping properties of owners without their consent. Leaving breadcrumbs for the crazies to do at will.
I love technology. I dislike technology intensely when used for the bad. There is a limit, and it’s called ethics and morals. Maybe we should turn it around and capture the complete life of these same scumbags. Put their lives on full display for the world to see. Every single event, every single action. A complete invasion of privacy.
Who knows. They’d probably like it. Because, hey, no morals, no ethics. What do they care about except for the almighty buck?
