Pairing: Lex/Clark, Clark/Lana implied

Summary: Another damn challenge. This time from Wednesday100 LJ community. I hadn’t realized how many challenges I’ve participated in until I re-did the site. Gah! 101 ways of getting rid of Lana. Pick one. Oh yeah, with pleasure.
Lana thinks she’s a strong person, withstanding the lost of parents, meteor strike and Clark’s secrets and lies. Has no home, she never feels comfortable in her skin.
She’s alone.
Lex sympathizes, provides encouragement, helps her escape to Paris.
At the airport, they say their goodbyes. Lana kisses Lex on his cheeks before he leaves.
She looks across the street, sees, heart beating, she runs. Her hopes and yearning brighten.
That’s when he reveals himself.
“Clark?”
Arms wrapped around Lex, head pressed against Lex’s, his eyes staring at her, kissing Lex.
She realizes then, the grandmaster has played her well.
